Cançons de Xerxa

El veterà cantautor menorquí Cris Juanico fa un tribut musicat al poeta i amic Joan Francesc López Casasnovas, conegut com a Pere Xerxa.

L’espectacle dona una nova vida als versos del poeta amic López Casasnovas ‘Xerxa’ (1952-2022), que va ser professor seu de Batxillerat i també un agent cultural vinculat a la llibreria Vdellibres. En la seva memòria, Juanico ha treballat amb cura el bell llibre-disc Cançons de Xerxa (RGB Suports, 2023), que recull un total d’onze poemes musicats.

Les cançons del nou disc, en directe guanyen molt en matisos musicals que es perden en l'audició en disc. Cris Juanico, com sempre brutal i amb una dicció excel.lent.
